Shonda Scott

Philanthropist

Shonda founded The Pink Access Foundation to help address the healthcare disparities in urban communities and in memory of her cousin and dear friend, Shannan, who passed at the early age of 29 from breast cancer.

Pink Access Foundation is a non-profit that raised much-needed funds and awareness to support organizations that provide services to cancer survivors in disadvantaged and underserved communities.

As part of the foundation’s 2013 awareness campaign, Shonda co-produced Our Journey: a documentary story of inspiration, triumph and cancer awareness.

Pink Access and Lavender Too events are a constant in the community, bringing creative new ways to give back, and to celebrate life and cancer survivors.
